Arabic Beginner 1.1 (Non-Native)

This course is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Arabic. The course begins with learning the script and the sound system. Students strive to develop a stronger foundation in all four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing using various activities and games. By the end of this course, the students will be able to greet, address people properly, introduce themselves, and their family members, form simple questions, respond to simple questions, produce some sentences used in daily life situation. The student also will learn the Arabic numbers, colors. Parts of the body, and days of the week.  

Pre requisites: No prior knowledge of Arabic is required

Materials: No textbooks are required for these courses. Instructors use materials and other age-appropriate visuals.
Class Breaks: Students will be given appropriate breaks. Parents are encouraged to prepare snacks for their children.

Arabic Beginner 1.2 (Non-Native)

This course is designed for students who can identify the Arabic Letters and at the first step of reading. After they have finished beginner one program they can already greet, introduce themselves, and their family members, form simple questions, and respond to simple questions. In this level they will have basic short interactions about people they know, things they own, actions they do. They will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases and will be challenged to produce more complex language than what they learned in the first course. The students will use conversation and role play as a means of communication with the teacher and with their peers. We make sure that students improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills through written and spoken activities. And they will learn simple grammatical rules in Arabic.

Pre requisites: Knowledge of reading Arabic at a pre intermediate level is required.

Materials: No textbooks are required for these courses. Instructors use materials and other age-appropriate visuals.
Class Breaks: Students will be given appropriate breaks. Parents are encouraged to prepare snacks for their children.

Note: Students who completed Beginner 1 can join this course regardless of age.

 

Arabic Reading Beginner 1 (Native)

Reading skills is one of the biggest challenges facing Arab students who have received a foreign education. This course is designed for children ages 10-12. In this course, students will be given the opportunity to acquire reading skills through a comprehensive program of Reading stories, songs, animation, they will also have activities and language games to play in class, to get them seriously engaged in Arabic language, we would also train students in conversation and discussion in classical Arabic. The class is conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Pre requisites: The minimum level of reading, a student should be able to read words and simple sentences.

Materials: No textbooks are required for these courses. Instructors use materials and other age-appropriate visuals.
Class Breaks: Students will be given appropriate breaks. Parents are encouraged to prepare snacks for their children.

Arabic Reading Beginner 2 (Native)

Reading skills is one of the biggest challenges facing, Arab students who have received a foreign education, therefore we created this course. This course is similar in content to the above-listed and designed for children ages 10-12. In this course, students will learn through stories, songs, animation. In each lesson, there is a story that students watch as a film then they read it as a story. Each story is followed by comprehension questions, as well as language training.

In these questions, the student learns the significance of the story, its characters, its basic characteristics, and the time and place of the story. He also learns expressive reading because the story contains narration and dialogue, and has different expressions (question - inform – exclamation…). Through linguistic activities, child vocabulary increase as he learns some synonyms and opposites. Although the program focuses mainly on reading skills it does not ignore the other language skills.

As we put at the end of each story its barcode so the child or the parents can watch the movie.
